| Dr. Brian Hansen graduated veterinary school from the University
of Minnesota in 2005, after attending the University of Connecticut for his
undergraduate education. His favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are
surgery, internal medicine, and pocket pets. As part of his veterinary schooling,
in 2002 he traveled to a national park in Africa to study tuberculosis in
Cape Buffalo and Lions. While there, he worked with capturing and relocating
White Rhinos, and with Giraffe rescue.
Along with his adventures in Africa, Dr. Hansen is an eight year veteran of the United States MarineCorps. During this time he also participated in the Military Rodeo Cowboys association- riding bull, and bucking horses. Dr. Hansen is originally from Connecticut where he grew up with a love of fishing, including ice and fly fishing. Since moving to Minnesota, he has fallen in love with the outdoors even more due to the beautiful natural lakes and scenery. |
