Heartworms      

 Intestinal Parasites

Prevention: Prevention:
Every spring,  Dog over 6 months of age should

be tested for this parasite. If the Test is negative,

we can dispense a preventative medication that

can be given though the year as needed.

 Once a year, pet owners should test a fecal

sample to identify any parasites that may have

contracted. Most heartworm preventatives also

prevent intestinal parasites.
